A Slight Of Divine

Long Time, No Journal

Sun May 8, 2005, 9:36 AM
Haven't touched this thing in forever.

Mood: Busy Busy
Listening to: Scissor Sisters - Take Your Mama
Reading: Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt
Watching: American Splendor

Howdy all. So, I thought I would make a new journal post.

I've been writing a lot of poetry lately, as well as monologues. I've just been writing.

I've also been writing a lot of music. My third album (this time complete with vocals) entitled "Own Your Own" is almost written, and I have about 1/3 of the songs recorded. You can here three of them at www.purevolume.com/denj

I have also been doing a lot of digital art, since I got Photoshop CS2. It's just fun to mess around with. Lately, I have been seeing a lot of things that I wish I could take a picture of, so I want to get a decent camera. We'll see what happens.

Good movies I saw recently that you should see: American Splendor, Amelie, Oldboy, Man on the Train, Dogville, Dancer in the Dark. There are millions more, but I can't think right now.

Anyway, thanks for reading. Thanks to everyone watching me; hopefully I can keep you entertained.

Friends!!!

Giving up isn't half as fun as convincing yourself that you're right, when you know you're wrong.

Hello.

I've been meaning to get around to reading your writing for a little while now, and since things are relatively quiet elsewhere in my life I will get to it now.

Regards,

James
